One important part of caring for our building in this season is repairing the ridge at the peak of our roof. This project will cover the existing, deteriorating tar paper with long-lasting copper flashing. Although the openings in the roof are still small, water can travel along the tar paper and reach the plywood beneath without dripping directly inside. If left unaddressed, this moisture can cause further damage to the underlying wood, leading to much more expensive repairs

On September 2, Westminster became the reunification site after a school shooting at Westwood Hills Elementary School. At 9:30 a.m., central office staff were sent to Westminster, where they greeted parents in the parking lot and had them complete reunification forms in the social hall.
