Westminster is honored to host the W.A.R.M. Cold Weather Shelter from December 15 - December 22, 2025, and we need your support to make it a success!
We’re looking for volunteers to help provide breakfast, lunch and dinner for our guests, donations of staple items and pillow treats to give our guests each night, and volunteers to check in guests, fellowship, stay overnight at the church.

Check In Volunteer - Overseen by WARM's primary monitor. Volunteers typically arrive by 5:30 p.m. and stay throughout the dinner hour as additional support of the evening and kitchen volunteers after check-in ends at 6:30 p.m.
Evening Volunteer - Serve from 5:30-9:00 p.m. to be present at the site each evening to represent Christ and their church by supporting and interacting, breaking bread, and fellowshipping with guests.
Overnight Volunteer - Serve from 8/9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. and spend the night at the site for overnight monitoring while the guests sleep. We are aiming for 1 female and 1 male volunteer as part of each overnight team. May sleep in shifts. There is also a W.A.R.M. staff member with you overnight.
Provide and Serve Dinner - Dinner Teams arrive at 5:30 p.m. in order to serve the dinner meal usually from 6:45-7:45 p.m. Please provide enough food for 30 guests, 5 volunteers/WARM staff, and your dinner crew. Everyone is invited to share in table fellowship. Clean kitchen after.
Provide and Serve Breakfast - Breakfast Teams can drop off basic food like donuts, cereal, oatmeal for the overnight volunteers to set out and serve. OR can be ready to serve breakfast at 6:15 a.m. Guests check out at 7:00 a.m. Please let us know (office@wp-church.com) if you will be bringing your breakfasts the night before your sign up day.
Provide Lunch - Please prepare to-go lunches. We ask that items be packaged but not bagged so guests can choose their own items to go in their bags to diminish waste. Lunches should be ready for guests at 6:45 a.m. Guests check out at 7:00 a.m. Please let us know (office@wp-church.com) if you will be bringing your lunches the night before your sign up day.
