A Special Appeal for Our Building
One important part of caring for our building in this season is repairing the ridge at the peak of our roof. This project will cover the existing, deteriorating tar paper with long-lasting copper flashing.
Although the openings in the roof are still small, water can travel along the tar paper and reach the plywood beneath without dripping directly inside. If left unaddressed, this moisture can cause further damage to the underlying wood, leading to much more expensive repairs. Our goal is to raise $35,000 by August 2027 to complete this repair and help protect our building for the years ahead.
