Easter Connections, Worship Ministry

The Worship Ministry works closely with Reverend Cranford and Sarah Layman Graf, the Music Director and Chancel Choir Director, to plan and carry out our blended worship activities. There are a number of ways you can support our ministry whether as an usher, communion server or other ways. We need more hands to help with sound or video, no experience required. All of our current volunteers started without prior experience and they are doing phenomenal work. It’s a great role if you prefer to work behind the scenes. They are mentored by our knowledgeable and reliable staff member Ethan Boles. If you are interested in helping out with AV or other aspects of worship, or if you know of someone waiting to be asked, please let Andy Kearney or Lowell Lemons know.

We believe worship is a fundamental part of our relationship with God, and coming regularly strengthens our relationship with God and strengthens our relationship with the people who worship with us. I don’t come to worship every Sunday, but being a member of the Worship Ministry is helping me come to worship more often. We’re giving you bookmarks Sunday as a reminder that God calls you to worship. The Worship Ministry hopes that coming to church lets God into your heart today and every Sunday.
