*Prayer of Confession
All Knowing and Loving God, We grow up learning the stories of Ruth and Mary, yet fail to implement the truths of their stories into our own.
We often lack the courage to make steps toward change, especially when we have to leave the familiarity of the past behind.
We tend to move away from the hard decisions that seek justice and promote peace when it is easier to remain silent.
Forgive us, and give us strength in the choices we make and the steps that we take, to be led forward by your love,
rather than pushed away by our fear.  Amen

*Silent Prayer of Confession and Assurance of Pardon

*Westminster Greeting Please greet those who are in worship this morning.
