Call to Worship
Leader:    God calls us and moves us to worship him, our Good Shepherd.
People: Who makes us lie down in green pastures.
Leader:    Who leads us beside still waters.
All:          Who shows us to put down our rocks and throw grace instead.

*Hymn of Praise        Blessed Assurance, Jesus is Mine                Red #514

*Unison Prayer of Confession
Holy One, your love springs forth in every flower and rests upon every tree.  Your justice stretches over every land and reaches across every sea.  You are truly worthy of our praise.  Yet we fall short.  We step away from your love.  We ignore your call for justice.  We sow conflict rather than peace.  Shower us with your mercy that has no bounds.  Forgive us for the times when we prefer fences of separation over freedom of wide open spaces.  Guide us in your ways and call us to live out your love found in Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

*Silent Prayer of Confession and Assurance of Pardon

*Westminster Greeting Please greet those who are in worship this morning.

I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended into hell; the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.
