Call to Worship

*Hymn of Praise               All Glory, Laud and Honor                                                 Red #204

* Prayer of Confession
Holy One,
You are the God we didn’t expect as we see you riding a donkey and crucified on a criminal’s cross. You are not the savior we expect.  Your power doesn’t look like the power we want our God to demonstrate. Your wisdom is often what we don’t understand.  We are happy to wave the palm branches, but not sure we want to follow you into the temple courts or into the upper room or into the Garden of Gethsemane or to the foot of the cross.  Forgive us for our weak knees and our sweaty palms.  Clarify our vision and our mission.  Let us relax in the foolishness of your love and receive the boundless mercy of your grace. Amen

*Silent Prayer of Confession and Assurance of Pardon

*Westminster Greeting Please greet those who are in worship this morning.
